...que le raison ne comprend point.
said Pascal. "The heart has reasons that reason does not understand." Of course it does, or love would be easy. We would never fall for the "wrong" people, and we would not choose to ignore the signs that tell us our relationships are falling apart. We would never let love blind us into thinking that we could, or our partners could, do something forever at an age that is so young. "Rememer they thought we were too young, to really know what it takes to make it? But we had survived on what we had done, determined to show them all that they were mistaken...but who could have known, the lies that we grew, until we could see right through them? Remember they knew we were too young? We still don't know what it takes to make it." Hoobastank. I enjoy that song.
Tonight, I have to write an essay on how love can be taken for granted, and how one must cherish even the hard times with someone...and how age doesn't matter when you're falling in love, only when you realize that you are. Tout de le Petit-Prince, bien sur...pas ma vie...pas ma vie du tout! What a lie. All about how a flower and a prince fall in love, and the Prince leaves her behind. Who would write of such a thing unless their own life involved such deep things? Unless in their own life they were torn in two between a home they know and one that is new and exciting...but so far apart.
Not I, says la seule fille ici, pas moi.
